This course is intended for Master's students in the Energy Physics and Renewable Energies option.
Renewable energies (abbreviated as Re_En) refer to energy sources that naturally replenish at a fast enough rate to be considered practically unlimited in human timescales. They originate from cyclic or constant natural phenomena caused by celestial bodies, primarily the Sun for its heat and light, as well as the Moon's gravitational pull (tides) and the Earth's generated heat (geothermal energy). The renewability of these energy sources depends on both the rate at which they are consumed and the rate at which they regenerate.
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of various categories of renewable energies.
