Rational mechanics is a mathematical branch focused on the study of classical mechanics theories. For example, concepts like time, force, and mass are assimilated as mathematical quantities (scalar or vector), and this module is primarily dedicated to the mathematical study of points and solids under static loading (forces), meaning it does not involve the study of the motion of the systems under consideration. In the latter, vector concepts such as dot and cross products are used. In the twelfth part, the geometry of masses is discussed, which requires the concept of integrals. In this section, we study: mass, the center of mass, moment of inertia, etc. Finally, the study of kinematics, kinetics, and the dynamics of solids is conducted. In these final chapters, the element of time is taken into account in the study of mobile solids and under dynamic forces.
